charleston, SC

I traveled down to Charleston, SC for a destination wedding for two of my close friends from high school. I decided to make it into a vacation since they rented a beach house for 14 of their friends coming in for the wedding. Charleston was a great place to visit, I only wish the weather had been a little nicer for the time I was there. I didn't get to do as much sight seeing because we were on an island about 40 minutes out and the day we went into town to walk around it was raining. I didn't take my camera out as much as I would have liked, but here are some pictures I took of the beach and the house we stayed in!

Sister and Cousin

My sister was in town from Boston and my cousin came up for Louisville this weekend! It was so good to see them both, it's been way too long! We had a cookout at my aunt's house and my parents and grandparents were there too! I haven't cooked a lot for myself lately, so I was really excited for this cookout with tasty food...mmmm. I had some fun taking a few shots of my sister and it was good practice too!

Also, they voted on me making a new watermark...so here it is. ...still working on the skin tones too...that's my troubled spot.

This is one of my cousins, grandma and mom checking out my blog! =)

Cookout

Thursday night a group of friends got together to see Lindsay one last night before she heads to North Carolina. We grilled, played cornhole, had a bonfire and ate s'mores! She will be missed...you too Bree!

Hanging With The Lindsa(e)y's

Sadly, this is Lindsay's last week here in Columbus. She's heading to Duke for Physical Therapy school. I'm trying to get some fun photos of us hanging out for her last week here. We went to dinner in the Short North and then the Gateway for some Coldstone! Hopefully more pics of our week to come...

I went from not getting ice cream....to getting cake batter ice cream....to ordering 'Birthday Cake Remix'! Oh...it was so good!

The other Lindsey is in Law School, so we stopped at Longs for a bit too. It brings back so many good memories! Ah...how I miss college...
